Greenwave laser is a creative and technical partnership consisting of me, Antonia Coppen and my husband Paul Clark.
The seed of our business was first planted one warm evening in 2016 while attending an arts festival. We came across the estate house which had been lit up with an incredible display of graphics and beams. We were transfixed!
Lasers are notoriously difficult to capture on camera so we have just our memories of that first inspiring show. However we’re enormous admirers of the digital artist Seb Lee-Delisle and this is perhaps one of the finest examples of atmospheric laser mapping on a building we’ve seen.
It’s moments like that which inspire fresh ideas and we knew then we wanted to bring that same magical feeling to audiences in Cornwall. Through our combination of experience, research and professional laser training we’ve made the idea a reality.
Paul is a successful software engineer and self-confessed geek. Early in his career he wrote the code and operated lasers for displays in Covent Garden and continues to write code today that drives our new laser innovations. As a personal development trainer in Universities I’m motivated to expand our knowledge and gain new skills. I also have 10 years of marketing and events management experience working for charities, museums and art galleries in London.
These skills and experience combined with a keen interest in theatrical staging, sound editing and choreography formed the perfect foundation on which to build a professional and innovative laser display service in Cornwall. The first of its kind!
We know how important it is to create a laser display that lights up your evening and creates a truly memorable occasion. The first laser display we performed was to the amazement of over 100 friends and family at our very own wedding celebration. We understand the need for individuality and we produce every display with the same care that we did for our own special occasion.
With our trusty Land Rover, Lizzie, we can set up a display in almost any location; a wedding in woodland, networking at a vineyard, festival on a beach or art installation in a garden.
